Hi again

Folks,

Got done with our 5 sessions together and it went by quickly and breezily.

The real work of consolidating the things we learnt and building upon them starts now - by getting our hands dirty with data and minds challenged by reality.

Pls keep an eye for these pages for your homeworks, extra links of interest etc. LMS alerts will be sent for all homework related posts.

Am happy to note that some of you have already started using the comments section of the blog to communicate with me and post interesting and relevant links. This below was sent by an 'anonymous' commenter.

the internet would influence US$ 35 billion of FMCG sales in India by 2020

Here are the class fotos with the two sections.

Yup. From now on, shall make it a tradition to click a picture on the last day with every class I teach. :)

  4. Well I second everyone of the commentators (is that what you call people who comment on a post) here...sessions were great, lively and engaging.

As for the internet of influence...awesome term, and I won't argue because I totally agree. What I'll like to add is that not only will the internet influence the online world, but also offline. Or it should atleast. Today there is no good way of me recommending an offline store, and someone acting on that recommendations, and me (who originally gave the recommendation) getting some benefit out of it. There are attempts made with coupons for example, and I think such attempts which connect the online and offline world seamlessly will be a big success, esp as online market is, even after everything, going to be only 5% of the total market!
